I have tested db synchronization, it is really great, but how can I do this from a webserver?

I mean can I upload something to my remote web server so that it performs synchronization job with out any need for my comp?

And also I have one more question:

In MSSQL, we call replication to this job, it has some options that enables us to replicate the data when new rows are added to some tables, instead of doing this job continuesly…

But my first question is more vital…

Any help would be highly appereciated…

Replication is available in MySQL as well.

The difference as compared to SQLyog synchronization explained:

SJA is available for LINUX (free) and for Windows (included with SQLyog Enterprise). Refer to these FAQs: http://www.webyog.com/faq/category24.html

If the 'webserver' is not running either Windows or Linux (but some BSD or other *nix variant for instance), the SJA will have to run from a remote client. There are versions for Windows and Linux only.

If this so called 'webserver' is a 'shared' server at an ISP, you most likely do not have access to the scheduling feature (CRON). Then you also will need to run scheduled jobs from a remote client.
