      I just downloaded the enterprise edition and i`m surprised how fast can be, but the capability of http tunnelling amazed me, so i`m gonna buy it. One question: why, when i connect via HTTP tunnel, after several seconds conection is closed with Error No.1? I tried to connect to several databases, on different hosts, with same result.

      I don't recall ever to have come across the error no. 1 !

      Did you upload the tunnelling file and is PHP and php-mysqli extension available ?

      Was there no text message associated with the error ?

      yes, the SQLyogTunnel.php file was uploaded to host.

      no, the php_mysqli extension isn`t available, but i can have it loaded.

      the error message was :

      “Error N0. 1

      Error in tunnelling.Please send the HTTP response to [email protected]”

      I am sorry!

      it is the php_mysql (and NOT the php_mysqli) extension that is used by the SQLyog tunnelling file for access to MySQL.

      This is a SQLyog's internal error.

      It occurs when SQLyog is not able to correctly parse the XML sent by SQLyogTunnel.php. Generally, it happens when the webserver sends incomplete XML data.

      With v4.2 BETA 6, I will add an improved logging mechanism where it will log the received XML in sqlyog.err. This is will give us a better insight on the error.

      BTW, before showing the error, SQLyog would have shown the HTTP response in a dialog box. Can you cut-n-paste it out here?
