Great Product!
3 Features that would make it even better.
1.) Multiple connection in the same left window pain. Like Enterprise Manager.
I know this was talked about in SQLyog MAX last summer, but I guess that product was scrapped.
2.) One the backup agent. Have it where it appends the date/time to the sql file name so you can keep a running backup for multiple days in different files. (Refer to MySQL Control Center Backup feature for an example).
Also, have a restore feature that analsys the SQL file and lets you select the tables/databases you would like to restore, so you dont have to just run the entire SQL file. (Refer to MySQL Control Center Restore feature for an example).
This reminds me, allow more than one database per backup file.
3.) Have “Diagrams” like enterprise manager where you can visually create Foreign key constraints can print out your database schema.
+.) Finally, one more thing that would be more user friendly. Is when you are trying to make a foreign key constraint….have it tell you the exact error instead of which errors it could be….then offer to fix the error for the user and of course go ahead and make the relationship once the error is fixed.
Like I said, great product and with these suggestions I think it could be the best on the market.
