Relationships not updated – structure sync tool

When using the structure synchronisation tool to update the live version of my database, foreign keys are updated, but the constraints are not synchronised, which means that the relationships from the source database have not been transferred to the second database.

(Right clicking the table name in the target database and selecting “manage relationships” lists no relationships, whereas they are there in the source database.

Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong, if I'm going wrong, or how to work around please.

SQLyog currenly does not support FK sync in structure sync tool.

Does anyone know of a work around, or is it just a case of loads of alter table commands?

As of now you have to execute correct Alter Table stmts. to get the FKs in sync.

Please, add this feature soon. I have just paid $79 for the structure sync tool and it doesn't it sync FK constraints… that means it you can't really automate the process… Please, add it soon….

I just upgraded to 5.01 and I still dont see the feature. Was this feature left out again?

It is still in our TO-DO list. We had to release 5.01 with more important features. We will implement it in either 5.1 or 5.2.

Both these versions will be FREE upgrade for v4.x/v5.x customers.
