      Hii Friends,

      I need a process to run every day night at 12'0 clock.

      i.e, In my website i have a rating system, where one user gives points to others and at the end of the day i need to calculate the total points given to the user .

      So i would like to know if SQL Yog helps my requirement.

      I also need to send mail to selected users when ever a NEW user registers with the site……

      please help me finding out a solution.

      You can do this using SQLyog Notification Services. You can find the option at Tools -> Power Tools -> SQLyog Notification Services.

      A scripting language like PHP is better equiped to perform the above job.

      Are you running on *nix? If so, simply use cron and the mysql command..
