I was under the impression that the data sync could be done between databases directly ~or~ create a script to be run later.
I don't see option to generate a script that contains needed data sync text. 🙁
How do you create the needed script and NOT do the actual sync operation?

Currently SJA does not generate script(s) that contains the required *data sync* text.
SQLyog's Structure Sync Tool does generate scripts that contains the required *structure sync* text.

Is that something that will be added?
There was a lot of stuff mentioned about developer this and developer that, but the schema is only part of the needs a developer has. And, may be a minor one compared to generating a script to sync the data base content.
An application developer frequently needs to update the content in a mySQL DB used in an application, along with an update or patch to the program itself. In such cases, generation of a script to update/sync the customers'/users' DB is very much needed.
I may have read too much into the information provided, but that is the MAIN reason I layed down the $$ for the Enterprise edition. Sock it to me, it ain't there. 😡 😡
I have no problem with the sync as done now, just want SQLyog Enteprise to provide an audit trail (script) of what it did!

VERY good news.
Can you comment on expected release date?
And, what is your upgrade policy?
I purchased SQLyog Enteprise this week.

First BETA of 4.1 is expected at the end of Feb-2005.
4.1 will be a FREE upgrade to existing 4.x Enterprise users (all inline updates of SQLyog are FREE).
