      Hi,

      Copy Database – Error

      Copying from MySQL 4.1.2-alpha on my local —> 4.0.22-standard on Webhost

      message popup:

      Error No. 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the Manual that corresponds to you MySQL version for the right syntax to use near 'DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1' at line 3

      The previous posted topic seemed to have similar problem but I am not sure how it would effect scheduled synching updating of a table or is it just the 'Create Table' that is the problem?

      Background:

      I am evaluating SQLyog Enterprise for a job who's wish-list would be a daily scheduled synch of a table:

      MS Access@Local –> (via ODBC Import) –> MySQL@Local –> (via Synchornisation) –>MySQL@Webhost

      The error wont effect the Sync tool.

      You can very well use Tools->Power Tools->Database Synchronization Tool….
