      Hi

      I've just installed SQLyog, created a new connection but when trying to access my server using the username=root, Host Address=Localhost I get “Access denied for user: root@localhost”. What can I do?

      Can you paste the complete error message?

      I guess you are not giving the correct password.

      And make sure that the appropriate user exists!
