      hi,

      can we schedule automated backups of a specific database using SQLYog ?

      Sure. Tools -> Database Synchronization Wizard

      Choose one-way sync, set source database to the one you want to backup and set the target to another where you want to save the data of the primary db.

      But I am not able to find Database Syn Wizard…but “Database Sync Tool” is there…

      I am using SQLYog 3.11 .

      Database Synchronization Wizard tool/feature is available from v3.6x upwards. v3.11 is very old and I strongly recommend you to upgrade.

      3.11 was designed to work with MySql 3.x and misses some features added when SQLyog turned commercial. Get a 30 day trial and see if it does the required job!
