Hi there !
here is my latest problem in my database implementation : while creating indexes in my brand new imported tables, PhpMyAdmin reported me duplicated lines.
After checking my sources it appears that those lines were single in the original .DBF Files. How comes ?
I'm currently using the latest EasyPhp release (before I move the whole solution on a Netware platform), accessing the database thru MyODBC and the .DBF Files thru ODBC Foxpro driver. The odd part is that duplicated lines vary when I repeat the operation.
Any idea of where the problem might come from ?
Thank's for your help,
Néo

Do you use SQLyog to migrate data to MySql? If yes, does it report any errors after importing? Have you tried creating those indices in SQLyog?

Well, I first imported the data with SQLyog BEFORE trying to index the tables and only then discovered it had created duplicatas.
I tryed the same exercise AFTER having created the indexes and SQLyog then reports me errors, so some of the rows can't be imported.
I used PhpMyAdmin to create the primary indexes since it appeared simplier to me in case of multiple fields primary key creation.
By the way, that kind of errors worries me a bit concerning the data integrity, huh ?
Thank's for your help

Unfortunately, you are not the only person who reports such problem (duplicate lines in imported data). You should contact Ritesh so that he can debug SQLyog if you provide some sample data.

All right, I'll do that as soon as I get back to my office…
