Cant open file in SQLYOG

      I have taken a backup of my database and restored it onto our working server.

      The restore seems to work fine till I try and open any of the tables.

      I get :

      Error no. 1016

      Can't open file: tablename.MYI (errno:144)

      I have had a look in “c:mysqldatamydatabase name” and all the MYI files are there.

      Any ideas ?

      I am in deep poo if I cant get this working !

      The index files are corrupt, try to repair the table by issuing a REAPAIR TABLE command. If that doesn't help, then dropping and recreating the indices may correct the problem.
