      Sounds like a cool tool you have there, and I would love to try it.

      Unfortunately I failed at step 2 already. Step 1, the download, executed fine. But when I try to untar the file, here is what my redhat 9.0 tells me:

      tar: This does not look like a tar archive

      tar: Skipping to next header

      tar: Archive contains obsolescent base-64 headers

      tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors

      Any ideas anybody?

      Also – has this been tested for very large databases? How 'bout 300-400 tables with the largest ones approaching 5 million records?

      Any hlep would be appreciated!

      Use

      tar -xzvf sja.tar

      We have tested this tool with tables having 15 columns and 10 million rows.
