Can we make the name SQLYog changed into a more corporate sounding name? To be honest, SQLYog is a great(if not the best) tool for managing mySQL databases.. all the menus and controls are user friendly. It's fast and stable. So it will definitely fit in the “Enterprise People”.
My suggestion might be offending to the one who named it, but I think this product might boost both mySQL and SQLyog sales if we rename this tool.
I would like to suggest a name like “mySQL Desktop Center” or anything that could be easily identified as a GUI interface for mySQL.
Thanks. 🙂

I don't think you are right! It's OK to have a product name (brand name if you put it that way) and a short description of the product as it reads on webyog's index.html: SQLyog – MySQL GUI Front End.
Besides, I have had enough of products boasting with pretentious names and no valuable content…

That's exactly I'm pointing out. If you believe that SQLYog needs not to be pretentious and is valuable enough to have the best brand name (I stressed corporate sounding name) then, why not?
I'll give you an example: Years ago, PHP's name was defined as “Personal Home Page tools” or FI (Forms Interpreter)… now PHP means Hypertext PreProcessor which is of course, a “tech” sounding name. I think SQLYog does deserve the kind of name that equals the tools Oracle and Microsoft gave. SQLYog deserves the very best. 😀
Don't get me wrong. SQLYog is a unique name. But my suggestion is just to institutionalize it. It does not hurt me if you decided not to mind this. I know that this category is just for bugs and suggestions.
