      Cannot connect to server localhost. Getting an error 2003. What should the interface look like. I using WinXP

      It says what I said before, Cannot connect to server localhost. Error 2003.

      I just installed MySQL maybe I have forgotten a step with that. Do you know of any good tutorials for Win XP? I've checked the MySQL page a tired a goole search but hard time finding good one.

      Ther may be several reasons for thismessage:

      – MySql is not installed

      – MySql is installed, but it is not running

      – port number is incorrect.
