      The line #/ column # box in the status bar appears not to count the number of text columns from the left margin to the cursor, but rather the number of characters between the margin and the cursor. I was expecting the former, not the latter.

      Steps to reproduce:

      • Press 'A' seven times.

      • Note the column number in the status bar. Should be 'Ln 1, Col 8'.

      • Press the Tab key, then press 'A' once.

      • Note the column number, which should now read 'Ln 2, Col 2'

      This really only makes a difference when you use tabs.

      SQLyog v3.5 corrects this behaviour.

      This happens using 3.5. (trial).
