  I just installed XP Pro (dont know if it has anything to do with it or not) and when I ran SQLyog it stays at status “Refreshing ObjectBroswer”. I downloaded the newest version and the same thing occurred. Any ideas?

  We have tested our application completely on WinXP. Are you connecting to a remote server with lot of databases? If YES then SQLyog needs some time to add those databases in the list ( but this should not be a problem ).
  
  It would be very helpful if you could attach the screenshot of SQLyog when it is hanging in such a way.
