      SQLyog is realy nice mysql front end.

      Do you have any plans to extend it as a Interbase/Firebird front end too? Firebird is open source db server too and will get more popupar, but there's no a good front end. There is some called IBConsole, but it's too bad, compared to SQLyog.

      It would be nice SQLyog to be able to work with both MySQL and FireBird servers.

      As of now, we dont have any plans to support Interbase/Firebird.

      I have to say, I think it's very unfortunate that FB or Interbase is not making it into the SQLyog application. Support for FB has been rather thin for these kinds of nice utilities, but FB continues to grow in it's scope and capabilities. 🙁

      If there is reconsideration in the future, there are two of us that could participate in helping.
