  🙁 I am trying to connect to a Linux server(Redhat8.0) with MySQL server (V.3.23.54) on it by using SQLyog(V3.03) from a windows2k machine. I get a message:
  
  Error No. 2013
  
  Lost connection to MySQL server during query.
  
  MySQL Host Address: 192.168.2.32 (MySQL server IP)
  
  User Name: mysqladmin
  
  Password: *****
  
  Default Database: test
  
  Port: 3306.
  
  Please help me. I really don't know what I'm doing wrong. MySQL, Linux, or SQLyog?

  This error is quite common in the MySQL Mailing List.
  
  It seems that there is some bug in glibc provided by RH. Please check out the MySQL Mailing List archive.

  You can check out MySQL or RH site itself. Doing a search in the MySQL Mailing List archive might help you.
  
  Google should provide you with more information.

  Maybe this helps. Put:
  
  set-variable = thread_stack=256K
  
  into /etc/my.cnf [mysql] section.
