My name is Thomas from Germany.
I hopy my english is good enough
We want to buy the sqlyog software (Enterprise Edition).
We want to sync two SQL databases. A local MYSQL at the server and a SQL database for the webspace.
During my syncronisation I need 100% acces to the web database beacause my customer wants to use the website during the sync
I need the syncrhonisation every 10 minutes 🙁
I have an important question:
Is it possible to have access during the data synchronisation??
I made some test's and I thought I have problems.
Please gibe me as soon as possible an answer because I want to order the software today
if we have no trouble during the synchronisation we want to buy it.
Thanks for answers.
best regards
thomas

If you can connect with the SQLyog GUI you can also connect with a Data Sync job – using either direct connection, HTTP-tunnel or SSH-tunnel. But you will need valid credentials of coruse for all server you connect to.
Could you please details what problem you have? If you have an erro please provide details of the error (error no. and error message). Also tell if you are using direct connection, HTTP-tunnel or SSH-tunnel.

thanks for the fast respronse.
Sorry for the bad or undetailed discreption.
I'm testing actually the trail version of the webyog software. I created and job file and it is running correctly.
every 10 minutes the schedule made the syncronisation for two tables (the maximum of the trail version 🙁 )
I seee it in the logfile 🙂
My questions is :
Can I get problems during the synchronisation. I mean can I have trouble to have access to the databases from my website?
I need everytime access from my website to the MYSQL database(for website) also during the syncronisation between my local database and the database
of the website
I saw an error message at my website. “No acces to database”. I think it was during a syncronisation 🙁
I hope you can answer my email as soon as possible.
Thanks for all.
Best Regards
Thomas

Data Sync does not LOCK explicitly anywhere and does not prevent other clients (also not a web site script) to access the data.
Please see if you will get the error again. Ther could be lots of reason for this that are not SQLyog related.
