      I have already replied same in your ticket:

      “Yes! ServicePack 1 or higher is required. The reason is that SQLyog is compiled with the latest Visual Studio (2010). The code generated by this compiler requries XP/2003 SP1+. It will not run on Windows 2000 and not on XP/2003 before SP1. “
