Hi All, My first Post here.
I have been using SQLyog for some time now and think it is excellent.
Version is SQLyog Professional MySQL GUI v8.82
What I am trying to do is;
I have a PHP script that periodically creates backups as SQL dumps. I want to be able to restore the backup when necessary using SQLyog.
I am having problem using Database/Import/Execute SQL Script, with SQL Dump files.
I have created the SQL dump script from various sources including SQLyog Backup Database as SQL Dump.
Different settings have been tried with the same result.
The Import Script seems to get to 36, then the progress bar jumps to the end as if completed with no errors, but the target database is not updated or changed.
The Copy Database to Different Host or User works well but I can't automate this.
I am probably doing something wrong but can't work out what it is.
if you need Further information, please tell me where to find it.
Kind regards to all,
~Mike~

1) Can you share such dump that fails to import? If you don't want to make it public create a ticket by sending a mail to [email protected] (please zip the dump in any case)
2) Does such dumps import withother clients – such as command line? How can you be sure that the dump is valid/correct?
3) Please tell MySQL server version.
