      Hi,

      My feature request is to create and save export definitions as jobs and to add them to the task scheduler in exactly the same way you can create import jobs. The facility would allow entry of an SQL query that generates the result set to be exported.

      This would be an extension of the existing “Export As” facility.

      The facility would also allow for a datetime placeholder in the generated file name. e.g. Filename = “CustomerExport%YYYYMMDD%.csv”

      I do not understand!  Actually you can now schedule EXPORT-jobs (SQL-dumps), but not IMPORT-jobs. How do you create IMPORT-jobs? Please explain.

      Note that  'scheduled backup' is available in ENTERPRISE and ULTIMATE Editions of SQLyog and is available from the 'powertools' menu.
