Custom Filter (Thank You!)

I am so pleased to see that you have implemented the custom filter. I think however that you have removed the functionality which allowed you to filter on fields beginning with a string, i.e. like “ABC%”. Please could you modify the custom filter as follows to rectify the situation (plus a less important enhancement to save a keystroke!):

• Remove automatic addition of %% to filter, so the user may specify searches like LIKE ABC% or LIKE %ABC
• Default Filter type to the last one used, so if I select LIKE (Which I almost always do), the program will default to LIKE next time I use a filter

We have released 8.6 Beta 3 with the %value and the value% option both in the context menu and custom filter.

We are still working on the persistence of the Filter condition of the Custom filter dialog.
