Sqlylog Stopped Working

      Strange behavior. I have been running successfully SQLylog for several years. My current OS is Windows 7 ultimate and SQLylog build is SQLylog 814 enterprise. (can't see the version number since it doesn't run) Been working fine. Today I go to run it and it tries to start and then nothing… not even a stub in memory. I uninstalled / re-installed several times. The only major change I did between when it worked and now it doesn't is that I installed the new Office 2010.

      Any ideas on how I can debug this issue…

      OK… got it fixed. 1) completely un-installed sqlylog. 2) removed any folders in the program folder. 3) made sure no left over entries in the registry. 4) Made sure no configuration file remained anywhere. 5) re-booted again. 6) ran install with admin as user. Now it installed and runs correctly again.

      Not sure why it did not work in the first place
