Sqlyog Crash On Startup – 8.2

Good day,

Love the software, been using it for a while now.

I recently upgraded my laptop to Win 7 (by “upgrade”, I mean “deleted partition and started over”).

I have the same issue as another user had: Crashes every startup. Worked fine once, crashed on close, and now can't get it to open again.

Tried uninstalling, reinstalling – no dice.

Tried uninstalling, removing the SQLYog folder, all appdatasqlyog folders, any registry entries, clearing the temp files – no dice

Here's what I see in the event viewer:

We are glad you loved our product SQLyog.

Regarding the crash:

1. Can you please reboot the OS?

It could be an issue with Windows 7 'Data Execution Prevention (DEP)' feature that is not quite stable. A reboot will normally solve this. Please reboot and let us know the status.

2.You can make an exception in 'Data Execution Prevention (DEP)' settings for the SQLyog.

3.If still the issue still persists, please attach the dump, so that we can try at our end.
