I've tested the job agent for Linux quite a bit lately, and need some help, please.
On ~10 servers, including two VPS & shared hosting, the sync works well (localhost to localhost)
On ~10 other servers, mostly shared hosting, all I get is an empty log file created, or this:
Sync started at Mon Sep 14 02:11:01 2009
Sync started at Mon Sep 14 02:12:01 2009
Sync started at Mon Sep 14 12:11:01 2009
Sync started at Mon Sep 14 12:12:01 2009
Even though the sync “started” it never occurred, and no error message was given.
Some details:
sja version:
The version I have ~50% success with is 2.20mb & I think it is 8.12 (not certain of version)
When I use the newer version 8.14 I've had a 0% success rate (using the same job files)
My urgent need is to get “any version” working on the other 50% of the hosts.
What could cause this log (for example)
Sync started at Mon Sep 14 12:12:01 2009
…but with no sync happening?
Also, what can cause the creation of any empty log file with no error messages?
