      If I perform a query that contains a “SET” column and try to change it, the dialog won't appear to change values.

      It works in the table data tab, however.

      One thing that's getting me is that when I search to see if this bug is already reported, the search engine refuses

      to search on words les than 4 characters. Something of a bother. . .

      We cannot (or will not) anything about it. Search in this system (like in most MySQL-based standard web applications) uses full-text indexes. Fulll-text indexes will index strings of 4 characters in length only. It can be lowered but that would result in huge index files. And changing the schema will be a total mess when upgrading the applicatioon.

      It is working fine at our end. Dialog for changing SET column is popping up.

      Please make sure that result tab is NOT IN “Read Only” mode.

      You can edit data in result tab when you have selected table name in the list box.

      See the attached screen-shot.

      @Khusboo .. I think you don't understand.

      This is not SQLyog/MySQL related. User searches with the word 'set' here in Forums! Searching MySQL using full-text indexes (with default settings) require 4-letter or larger strings.

      @BVK: who of us understand correctly?

      OK, it was on my end. I reinstalled SQLyog and it works fine now.

      sorry for the trouble.

      As for the index files, there are some key words (like “SET”) that I could

      not use to determine if this issue was already reported.

      Anyway, life goes on.

      Thanks,

      BVK
