      Im not entirely sure why it is doing this and ive got it before, It says.

      Failed to connect to MySQL: Cant connect to MySQL server on “*******” (10061)

      I was wondering if anyone had a test server I could attempt to connect to or something or explain why im getting this error.

      I cannot tell either. There may be different reasons. The most common are listed here:

      But one thing to observe is that it is a connection error – not an authentication error. It is not the MySQL server that refsues connection, because here the client simply never gets in contact with the server. You would experience the same with any client using same connection method and parameters.
