      Open a new query pane, type “use mysql”. Run the command.

      Look at the database 'dropdown' on the tool bar. It will say “ysql”.

      This is consistent across all databases on my server – the first letter of the database name is dropped when the database is chosen using code.

      The good news is that this doesn't seem to affect anything except the name on the dropdown box.

      If I understand you right this is not reproducable for me with 6.06 and 6.07 final.

      Please try 6.07 and tell if it is still an issue for you!

      If it still is I probably do not understand and may need a more detailed description (screenshot?)

      This is not reproducible in 6.07.
