I have been having an issue lately with SQLYog crashing on startup. I can start the gui, open and alter my DB's, but a small window will pop up SQLyog crashed! , dump file saved as SQLyog_dump00X.dmp.

When I click ok the gui closes. The dump file doesnt have any useful info in regarding the failue. I have unistalled and reinstalled twice and each time I get the same problem.

I cannot find anything about this failure in the FAQ or in the forum

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks

I think you are running Windows Vista?

      there are Forums threads:

a reboot will normally solve the issue when it occurs.

We are trying very hard to solve this before releasing 6.06 FINAL.

Not running Vista, but XP Pro with SP2. If I dont click the ok on the pop up I can continue to run without any problems. I only have this issue on my laptop, no problems on my PC at home.

Actually most (but not all) of the reprots with Vista were dual processor systems too.

Does it happen occasionally or every time on that system?

First: please attach the DUMP file!

Next: you write you can 'alter' a table and this popup occurs. Do you mean ALTER TABLE (structure) or edit data? And it ONLY occurs when particular this particular operation?
