It seems as though on high-DPI monitors (with Windows set to use that DPI), there is an issue with the way certain elements are displayed. Please see the attached image.
I assume the Text of the control for number of row is supposed to say something like “Show All or Limit” but it's hard to read.

You are right. We have only tested on 'normal' DPI setting. Is it 'standard high' or a 'custom high' setting you are using?
We do plan to improve 'adoptability' to various screen resolutions, types and settings, but I cannot guarantee about this one.
Anyway I will ask the team to check tomorrow – it looks like a few pixels more is what we need here!
Other places in the program with same issue?
However, actually I was checking the setting in Vista, and it seems that Microsfot has removed it. Corrrect me if I am wrong!
See attached image for 'normal DPI' display.

I'm using the standard “Large Size (120 DPI)” setting.
The only other issues I've seen are the two examples I'm now attaching, both of which are relatively minor. The second issue is common with any other tool that uses that control, such as the Database Synchronization Wizard (second dialog, when you're choosing the source and target of the sync), Migration Toolkit, etc.
I don't have a Vista box handy to try it on, so I can't comment on that.
FWIW, I do have to say that for the most part the controls on SQLyog display much better than a *lot* of other applications at this DPI. So I can't complain too much. 🙂
Only the first issue I reported is really even a “usability” problem in that if you don't know what the control does the obfuscated text doesn't help. Though once you look at it closely, it's somewhat obvious.

Please confirm: The issue with the connections dialogue is only that the image does not 'fill out' the rectangle area reserved for it?
I think bitmaps are not affected by DPI settings. They are always displayed as x*y pixels, it seems!

No, the issue is that the upper bound of the tab is not delineated. See the attached Display Properties dialog and compare to the one from SQLyog.

To me the upper bound of the two examples (connections dialogue, screen properties) look the same. I cannot see any delineation issue. Maybe there is a display issue on you monitor, but once captured to clipboard and saved as a file there is no issue as far as I can see.
Please have a look a the files yourself!
If I am blind please help compensate it by drawing an arrow pointing to where I should look (or something like it!)
