Is it possible to export specific columns from a query result?

I ran a query which gives me 120,000 results.

I then want to export those results to a csv file but only specific columns.

I can only seem to export the results with all columns.

Is there a way to do this?

TIA to anyone that can reply/help

      Mal

Right-click in the RESULT tab and the context menu will give you export options.

      Did I understand right?

      Hi

      Thanks for reply.

My original post wasn't particularly quite clear so i have amended this.

I need export only specific columns if possible. Any suggestions how to do this/get around this problem?.

      TIA

There is no 'columns selection' for export, only 'rows selection'.

The best option now is ,I think, to open a new query tab, copy the SELECT statement from HISTORY, paste it in the new tab, edit the columns list and execute.

We also had a report from a user who did like this:

select text-mode for results, copy the complete result into an editor that supports 'area selection'(he used PSPad).

We have added a feature similar to this to our TODO, but priority is low!
