I'm running SQLyog Ent. edition, I was running version 5 something on my new vista machine, then I kept upgrading hoping my problems would go away now I'm at the 6.05beta version and still having issues.

I'm running MySQL v4 local on my workstation.

1)When I try to run an import script i.e restore for script feature, it's sometimes trying to run an old script I ran days ago that has nothing to do with the current script I've selected to import.

2)I get really strange duplicate key error messages when trying to import form script, and it keeps trying to run an insert query over and over with duplicate errors.

      3) I have foreign keys errors disabled in the begining of the script and it still throws duplicate error messages.

4)My SQLyog even just closes or crashes and disappears sometimes when I try to browse my local hard drive and select a .sql file to restore from, this is very strange.

      5) the SET @OLD_FOREIGN_KEY_CHECKS=@@FOREIGN_KEY_CHECKS, FOREIGN_KEY_CHECKS=0; I try to run from the query windows also doesn't work, it's just ignored.

The worst thing is that script problem, somewhere it's caching the whole script I ran days ago and running it sometimes even if I click and slect a totally different file, I've check dozens of times to make sure I haven't lost my mind and still runs that old script even thought it's not selected WTF? This has got to be a Vista issue right?

First: I think you posted in the wrong category! This is a SQLyog report and not a MONyog report!

None of the things you report here have been reported before! The only known issue with SQLyog and Vista is that on some systems sometimes the program refuses to start. It can be necessary to reboot once more. This is not a problems with SQLyog alone!

No Vista specific issues with SQLyog are known once the program has started. I personally have been using SQLyog solely on Vista for 4 months now, and we test on Vista regularly.

What you report here looks very much like a the system itself is non-operational. I am not impressed by the 'finish' that MS gave Vista before releasing it (mostly I am very annoyed with all the localisations bugs), but a behavior like this is (after all) very unusual!

      Please answer:

Have you been using SQLyog on other Windows without those problems?

Do you experience weird problems with other program as well?

      Did you reboot the OS?

      Did you try reinstalling SQLyog?

      Did you try repair/reinstalling Vista?

Can you think of another program that you have installed that causes this weird behaviour?

On what hardware is this Vista installed ?
