    Executing a single line with multiple queries works perfectly in a Query window but fails silently if the import – Execute SQL script is used.

    Using the 'Execute SQL script' function only executes the first query.

    However importing the same file with a single line from the command line using MySQL works perfectly.

    CREATE TABLE `base` (

    `id` int(11) unsigned NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT,

    `text` varchar(255) NOT NULL,

    PRIMARY KEY (`id`)

    ) ENGINE=MyISAM AUTO_INCREMENT=0 DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1;

    CREATE TABLE `refer_base` (

    `id` int(11) unsigned NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT,

    `base_id` int(11) NOT NULL,

    PRIMARY KEY (`id`)

    ) ENGINE=MyISAM AUTO_INCREMENT=0 DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8;

    Single line

    INSERT INTO `base` (`text`) VALUES ('test');INSERT INTO refer_base (base_id) VALUES (LAST_INSERT_ID());

    Is this not supported by SQLyog or is this a bug?

    SQLyog GUI v11.01 is used.

    It is reproducible and it is a bug (obviously).

    We plan a small bugfix release today or tomorrow. We are checking now if we can fix this issue as well in this release. We may need more time to do a proper fix. But we will update here.

    It is actually a very old bug. 7.x versions are also affected. Maybe it always existed. We have tested this functionality with dumps (created by SQLyog, mysqldump etc.) and here multiple statements on a single line do not occur. And no user reported this either. This is not an excuse, but an explanation.

    Hello,

    We have checked this. This is not a trivial fix. We will not be able to add it in this release. I have added it in our issue tracker here: https://code.google…./detail?id=1949 We will schedule this according to priority.

    Regards,

    Sathish
